Liverpool University Hospitals Charity raises funds to purchase specialist equipment and improve facilities for patients and staff at the Royal, Aintree and Broadgreen University Hospitals.

Story

In 2013 our colleague and sales representative, Stevie G, was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and in March 2016 had to have his prostate removed. Throughout all of his treatment, The Royal Liverpool Hospital provided outstanding support and care. In June 2016 Stevie G got the all clear and now we'd like to help him say a huge thank you to The Royal Liverpool.

On the 25th September 2016, 18 members of staff, as well as Stevie G and his son Jamie, will be taking on the Natterjack Seaside 10k in Southport. An additional member of staff will be running 10k on a treadmill in Tenerife and amazingly another of Steve's sons Sam will also be joining us on a treadmill in America!

R Charity is currently raising £10 million for the New Royal Liverpool Hospital to deliver world class technologies and cutting-edge research. Therefore ensuring earlier and more accurate diagnosis of illnesses whilst also providing outstanding patient environments.

With your help we'd like to show our thanks to The Royal Liverpool by raising £1500 for R Charity, supporting them in building a new world-class hospital that will treat people just like Stevie G.

Thanks for your support, The Champion!
