About us
Adam’s Light is a charity dedicated to preventing suicide and promoting mental wellbeing among young people under 30.
Suicide affects everyone. It knows no boundaries of age, gender, ethnicity, background, or profession. It cuts across communities and industries, leaving lasting trauma that ripples through families, friends, workplaces, and wider society. The need for honest, inclusive, and accessible suicide prevention education has never been greater.
Based in the south east and born from love, loss, and the memory of Adam, our mission is to honour lives lost to suicide by creating spaces where young people feel safe, supported, and empowered to speak openly about their mental health.
We deliver free, powerful suicide prevention talks in schools, colleges, universities, and community settings, grounded in lived experience. These sessions are personal, heartfelt, and deeply human, offering connection and understanding that data alone cannot provide.
With your support, we can reach more young people, strengthen mental health outcomes for future generations, and honour those we’ve lost in ways that foster hope and connection.
No one should face emotional pain alone. With the right tools, conversations, and community, we can help prevent suicide, build a culture of care, and create lasting change.
