Llanharan Community Development Project (LCDP) is a long-established local charity supporting people across Llanharan, Brynna, Bryncae and surrounding communities. For nearly 30 years, we have been at the heart of our community, providing trusted, accessible and inclusive services for children, young people, families and adults. We run a wide range of community-led services including affordable childcare and play provision, youth activities, wellbeing and peer support groups, community cafés, skills sessions, and environmental projects such as our Eco-Hub and community gardens. Our work tackles loneliness, supports mental health and wellbeing, helps families through the cost-of-living crisis, and creates safe spaces where people feel welcome, valued and supported. As our community continues to grow rapidly, so does local need. LCDP acts as a trusted first point of contact, connecting people to support, opportunities and each other. We work closely with volunteers, local schools, health partners and third-sector organisations to ensure our services respond directly to what the community needs.
