The Ladybird boat provides trips on the river for disadvantaged, disabled, elderly and for educational purposes who live locally. Groups include care homes, sheltered accommodation, friendship groups, schools, scout movement and many groups dealing with illness. Based at Hartford Marina near Huntingdon we carry up to 20 passengers, many in wheelchairs to St Ives or Brampton. All our crew are volunteers and we do not charge for trips but are reliant on donations to meet our costs of over £20,000 per year.
