In memory of Charlie Anthony Davison

Since its launch in 1988, Red Nose Day has become a British institution. It’s a time when people across the country get together and fundraise at home, school and work to support people living incredibly tough lives, and has raised over £1.3 billion to date.

Story

Charlie was such a happy little man.  His life is something to be celebrated as it gave us the happiest three weeks of our entire lives.  We wouldn't change that for the world.

We both feel that Charlie's life should be a positive force and so we ask that you give donations in his memory to Red Nose Day 2011.

On Friday 18th March Charlie, Andrew & I all lay in bed together watching Comic Relief. It was something on my own I wouldn't have watched as I found it too sad, but Andrew wanted to watch it and Charlie was quite happy to be watching anything.  Watching it for the first time as a mother, two stories touched my heart. The first about a mother who's premature baby died from a small wound due to her not having money to travel to hospital to have it treated, both her and her daughter died. And a beautiful seven year old girl who had to look after her mother, who had AIDS and her three year old sister and was shown saying she was so hungry it hurt. Her mother later died and thanks to Comic Relief they were looked after and given an education.
