There are more than 4,600 volunteer lifeboat crew members at stations around the UK and the RoI, and another 3,000 volunteer shore crew members who support them. They are available 24/7, whatever the weather, to rescue those who need help. 

Those that know me know why I'm so supportive of those incredible people that volunteer their time at the RNLI.

If I lived close enough I would volunteer myself, but I don't so fundraising is the best way I can contribute.
