My Story...

Cancer destroys people, families and lives, so by me running this race and raising money for cancer research it will hopefully get us closer to destroying cancer. Even though this amazing charity have done much to find a cure, there are still types of cancer which have no cure at all, like my Grandad Tommy's. Last year, my family lost an amazing man, my Grandad. My Grandad was a strong man, and I never thought anything could beat him, but cancer was stronger... through his fight against cancer, it was hard not only for him but for me and my family who still are suffering from what cancer has taken from us. I remember he went through a funny stage, he told me I was 'recyclable' and his utter amazement at my mums gold bag 'WOOOOOO AY, I like that' in his Scottish accent. He didn't ever give up, so neither will I. People like my Grandad give us a reason to fight for an end, and to stop other people going through the pain both he and my family did. SO, whether its a pound or a penny please give, every penny counts. Thankyou:)
