We raise much-needed funds to help the wider Household Cavalry family

Story

From 6th - 18th September 2015, 10 Household Cavalry Regiment soldiers will be cycle from Windsor to Twickenham stadium via the 13 Rugby World Cup venues.  The event is named Chase the Cup and will take 13 days to cycle the 1300 mile route.

The aim of the event is to first allow soldiers to conduct an arduous event; testing their physical robustness, determination and ability to work as a team in a non-military but competitive environment.

In 2014 the Regiment sent soldiers to become the Guinness World Record holders of the highest game of TAG Rugby at Base Camp, Mount Everest.  The success of Touch Everest provided motivation to others to push the boat out and try new and exciting events.  This years Rugby World Cup will have the nation buzzing and CHASE THE CUP will captialise on the atmosphere around England and Wales in the Autumn.
