We gift a box of kindness to intravenous chemotherapy patients

Story

In September, eleven of our family (including our 79-year-old grandad!) will be running the Bristol half-marathon. We are running in aid of ChemoHero – a charity founded by our cousin, Lisa Wallis, after she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012.

ChemoHero produces ‘boxes of kindness’, full of useful and luxury items, that are given to cancer sufferers receiving intravenous chemotherapy. The boxes are currently distributed at the North Devon District Hospital where Lisa continues to receive treatment.

The runners are:

  • Anne Watts
  • Richard Watts
  • Ben Watts
  • Gerald Watts
  • Michael Waters
  • Adam McMeechan
  • Nichola McMeechan
  • Paul Sellars
  • Sarah Crocker
  • Dave Roberts
  • Jodie McMeechan

This is a cause very close to our hearts, so any sponsorship would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
