Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
As many of you already know, back in March 2004 I lost my boyfriend in tragic circumstances. We were on our way to the coast for the day when Paul's heart failed whilst at the wheel of our car and we were involved in a crash with a lorry and two motorbikes.
Paul had suffered from a heart condition (Self-Corrected Transposition) since birth and always knew that he wouldn't live to see old age. As a result he lived his life to the full and didn't let his condition get in the way of doing what he wanted. He taught me to make the most of everything and losing him made me realise that we should all enjoy life to the full as we only get one life to live.
For a long time now I have wanted to do something in his memory and raise awareness and money for a good cause. Here's where the British Heart Foundation come in...they have a scheme where you can take part in a skydive if you raise a minimum amount of sponsorship. It will be a challenge, but feels like the perfect opportunity to do something I have dreamt about for a long time.
So, in memory of Paul and to raise money for the British Heart Foundation, I am planning on completing a tandem parachute jump on 7th June 2008 at Black Knights Parachute Centre, Cockerham and am asking you all to sponsor me to take part.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: British Heart Foundation will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.
Please donate generously in memory of Paul and let's raise as much money as possible for the Brtish Heart Foundation.
Many thanks for your support and donations.
