Thanks for visiting our little page! We are taking part in a bungee jump in Salford on the 31st March where we will jump off a 160ft crane! Therefore we have decided that we shall also do it for charity! 

We have decided to jump for the only UK based charity for Chiari Malformation and other associated conditions. Chiari Malformation is a very rare condition and a condition that very little is truly known or understood about it. Chiari Malformation is the result of the lower part of the brain that slips down the spinal canal resulting in pressure being applied. Symptoms for this could be an array on things from: headaches, dizziness, dizzy spells, muscle weakness, balance issues, blurred vision, insomnia, depression, hearing loss, tinnitus amongst other things. With this condition there is no cure, at the moment only drugs can be prescribed to help with any pain relief and there is also decompression surgery which, dependant on severity, is the removal of the bone at the bottom of the skull and sometime the top of the spine to give the malformation more space, hoping to relieve the pressure. This doesn't have a very high success rate, its either works or it doesn't.

Although, not life threatening, it's a hard condition to live with. Therefore, we are raising money for the Ann Conroy Trust who specialise in the research,education and support to those who suffer with Chiari Malformation, Syringomyelia and other associated conditions.

Our aim is to raise £320; £1 per foot per person of this jump, please donate whatever you can. If you can't, don't worry, even reading this has helped to raise more awareness to the charity and the conditions.

Thank you to EVERYBODY that has been apart of this so far, for taking the time out of your day to log on and support us, or by donating with cash donations!! I am completely overwhelmed with the support we have received so far and will be continuing to raise funds up until the jump and beyond!

I never in a million years thought we would even reach the initial £320 target let alone the second target of £1000!! Now to think of a costume idea for Chris!!!
