PAR Group are fundraising throughout November 2021 and I will be getting involved in my own fundraising activities to help raise money for SafeNet; a local charity supporting men, women and children to live a life free from domestic abuse.

My chosen challenge is to take part in the 'Lakeland Recce Day' from Coniston to Buttermere on Sunday 14th November. This route is a very challenging section of the classic 'Lakeland 100' ultra event and covers 26 miles with approximately 6,500ft in elevation gain. The night before i will be attending the Rainbow Hub charity ball before being up and on the road at 04:50am to get to the start point. With the early rise, difficult terrain and lack of sleep, I am under no illusions how difficult this might be.
