Hi, so I'm off to Burundi to do some volunteer work at a school called Gitega International Academy.

A few months ago, Simon Guillebaud, one of the mission partners from my church at St Marys in Maidenhead and founder of Great Lakes Outreach came to preach and speak of his experiences in the 20 years he has lived in Burundi.

I found it inspiring and having been to Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda a few months ago, I sent an email asking what I can do to help. Countless emails backwards and forwards, a skype call, a flight and a visa later, I am off.

The money you donate will go directly to charity to help one of the poorest countries in the world and does not go to me so any money you can spare, is greatly appreciated.
