Chris's 100 Mile Challenge - 3rd June 07

Norwich 100 Mile Charity Cycle · 22 May 2007
Event: Norwich 100 Mile Charity Cycle - 3rd June 2007
UPDATE : 04/06/2007 - I had an excellent day. In a nutshell gruelling but worth it. 100 miles is such a long way!
Thanks to all those who sponsored me. I crossed the start line at 7.10am and crossed the finish line at 4.25pm. Moving time was 7hr20mins and stopped at various points for more lucozade's, tuna pots, energy bars, water, and water and lucozade and .... you get the picture. Would I do it again? Of course - the money raised will go a long way.
So how did it go? My legs went to jelly after 48 miles and I was starting to worry about how long it may take. I wouldn't have given up.... plus it was only 11am so I still had all day really. The picture of me with the medal shows that I made it!
For anyone who hasn't managed to sponsor me yet . . . don't worry. You'll be pleased to know that the site will be open for some time yet. Thanks again to everyone who sponsored me. It means a lot.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
This ride's a British Heart Foundation (BHF) ride. I've been trying to set up a fundraising page for some weeks. In summary BHF have developed a fundraising site which is clunky, and difficult to find/use. Any cash I receive I'll donate to BHF. Any online funds will go to Cancer Research. Why Cancer Research? I've donated generously each month to Cancer Research for the last 5 years in memory of my brother Paul xx

Please sponsor me!
Many thanks for your support.
