Having been amazingly lucky to get a london marathon ballot place,. I wanted to make sure I put this opportunity to good use. I was lucky enough to be selected to represent Time Norfolk in London in 2018 and it was such and incredible and emotional journey.

Time Norfolk provide invaluable support to families who have suffered the tragedy of pregnancy loss and the loss of a baby, they are there for those who are struggling with fertility issues and also help families facing many different pregnancy related struggles.

Having personally and professionally had experience of unsuccessful pregnancies and the heartbreak and trauma of a precious baby dying. I know only too well how essential services such as TimeNorfolk are. They are just sometimes literally a lifeline and their work needs to be recognised, applauded and helped to continue. 

Raising funds for TimeNorfolk will help them to continue to provide the fantastic support to local families.

As in 2018, I will be a carrying stars on my running vest, each of which represents a precious angel baby, these angels will complete the 26mile run with me on the day and each of the 26 miles will be dedicated to a specific baby who left too soon. 

The cause and memories of these little ones and their families will easily keep me motivated for the 5am starts, mammoth training runs and gruelling schedule that will not only allow me to complete the marathon on April 26th 2020 but to do it in a personal best marathon time of 4hours and 15minutes. Something I have previously tried but failed to achieve. 

I will keep this page, as well as my social media pages updated with my progress and highs and lows of training plus info of any fundraising events I can arrange (and make no apologies for it!!!)
