I've done it! Completed the race in 5 hours 44 minutes so really chuffed!  It was a great day and thanks to Macmillan for the support on the course, the hospitality at the end and especially for providing the massage at the end. 

Having started off with a target of £500 it is absolutely fantastic to have such wonderful support and double the target - THANK YOU!

I will treasure the medal as a symbol that if you put your mind to something it can be achieved.  This journey has however become much more than that and it should be remembered that this was about doing something for others who have a huge personal challenge when dealing with the treatment of cancer and the wonderful work that Macmillan does in order to support cancer patients.

Having recently become a member of the Auchterarder fundraising committee for Macmillan I ran in support of the fantastic work they do.  Two million people living in the UK today have had a cancer diagnosis and the money raised provides support to them and everyone else affected by their illness.
