I'm running the London Marathon this year and raising money for the wonderful charity Voluntary Service Overseas (more info below).

If you want to come and support me, the marathon is on Sunday 22nd April. I'll be the red faced, sweaty one who should hopefully be nearing the finish after 4 and half hours. If you're lucky you might even get to catch a glimpse of my running tights!

VSO works through volunteers to fight poverty in developing countries. Your donation will help VSO set up and operate a number of projects dealing with a wide variety of matters such as disabilities, midwife care, Aids/HIV, orphans, education, health projects etc. Everyday around 1,500 VSO volunteers are working in carefully selected placements, working to tackle poverty by empowering those really affected by it.
