Edinburgh Marathon Festival 10km 2014 · 24 May 2014 ·
Hi there,
Recently I began doing the Couch 2 5k programme after deciding that I was inactive for too long.
As I have started I have enjoyed running so much that upon finishing C25k, I have decided to move onto the Bridge 2 10k.
With this new found confidence and enjoyment of running, I looked up and found 10k in Scotland for next year and found this one in Edinburgh in late May.
This is giving me enough time to continue training and have a real focus in my mind of why I am out running when it is raining and windy.
When choosing a charity I decided to pick one which represented things I know things about. For that I decided to do this run for the Stonewall charity which promotes equality for the LGBT community within school, work and in life. They are a great charity which recently tried to help equality in football with a rainbow laces promotion.

On the inside pages even £10 can help them address homophobic bullying in schools.
Anyway, give a little or give a lot. It would be make a massive difference to them.
Thanks for listening
Christopher
