Story

I like cycling, I like cycling up hills. I'm not particularly quick at it, but I like it. I also like http://www.strava.com which is an online community for people who like cycling. Every now and then Strava challenge us to do daft stuff, like climb, a lot. Last month, January, it was 20,150 feet (6,142 meters), this month, February, it's 28,000 feet (8,535 meters).

I've completed both.

However, a good friend has extended February's challenge to 50,000 feet (15,240 meters) which is a whole different level. If I complete it, he'll give me £250 to a charity of my choice, which would be the Beechwood Cancer Care Centre.

My challenger shall remain anonymous, but if you want to add to his pledge, and help me hit the target of £500 for 50,000 feet, then please feel free to donate.

I've only 14 days left, and 21,391 feet (6,520 meters) left to climb, which is 1528 feet (466 meters) per day, or like riding up Mellor https://www.strava.com/segments/1011564 34 TIMES!

Wish me luck :)
