Okay, I can't believe I'm putting myself through this but I 'm running the half marathon for Diabetes UK in Cardiff!! Diabetes UK is essential for developing treatments for diabetes and my brother-in-law (Mansel) was diagnosed when he was just 18-Imagine having to give up all things sweet!!! He has it under control these days but I have seen first hand how serious it can be and diabetes UK spent 6 million pounds in 2009 alone developing treatments and investing in research of the condition.  If you want to find out more go to-
