Big Fun Run Leeds 2014 · 23 August 2014 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

On the 23rd August I will be doing a run in Leeds for the amazing charity, The Stroke Association.

As I'm sure a few of you may be aware, recently a very close, special friend of mine was unfortunately effected by a stroke at a young age of 21. Not only do strokes have an effect on people's physical appearance, but can also be mentally and have effects that last a long time, or in some cases for the rest of their lives.

The Stroke Association does exactly what it says on the tin, and I have grown a massive appreciation for what they do after something like this hitting so close to home.

I think it would be absolutely amazing for anyone to donate, whether it be small or large! I'm sure every penny will be appreciated by not only me, my friend, but most importantly the association itself.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now!

Thank you :)
