Mike O'Kane is raising money for Ladbrokes Coral Trust
Story
Mike O'Kane has many talents. But did you know that in his spare time (amazing that he has any!) he is also Chairman of Ladbrokes Charitable Trust?
Since it's inception in 2003, Mike has overseen fundraising in excess of £6m: funds raised through Ladbrokes dedicated shop teams, customers & office based colleagues. Hundreds of charities have received grants as a result.
LCT's most enduring partnership is with Cancer Research UK. This October our shop teams will be engaged in fundraising for breast cancer awareness and research. Following some 'gentle coercion' from his fellow Trustees, Mike has sportingly agreed to this challenge (despite a phobia of water-based sports!).
This challenge will take place on Friday 31st October at Ladbrokes Head Office (our fundraising 'Pink Day'). Mike has agreed to wear his fetching pink boa and finest Saville Row suit for the occasion.
The whole event will be filmed so you can watch it repeatedly at your leisure! Mike's fundraising target has been set at £2,500. Please sponsor Mike for being such a good sport and help raise funds for this worthy cause.
