Most of you are probably aware of Macmillan Cancer Relief's work, and why this is close to my heart - but for those who don't....

Macmillan Cancer Relief is working towards people in the UK having equal and ready access to the best information, treatment and care for cancer. They help to provide expert care, practical and emotional support that makes a real difference to people livign with cancer.  The money raised will help to fund specialist Macmillan nurses, doctors, therapists and other health care professionals to provide the best in cancer care; build treatment, advice & information centres; and give financial help to those who need it most (including grants for equipment / mobility aids). If you would like more information please go to www.macmillan.org.uk for more information.

We had a pub quiz and raffle at The Fountain's Abbey Pub in Paddington, on March 16th which I think everyone enjoyed (?!) which has raised a further £360 towards my total - so a very successful night (and my birthday night too!).

On March 30th we had a 'Wear Something Green' Party evening at Potion bar, Maple street (near Great Portland St / Warren St tubes).   Many thanks to all who came along -and also for enduring my 'eclectic' music collection.    The night has helped to raise a further £260 towards my total.

Ruth has kindly agreed to host an Ann Summers Party next week at her house - £5 entrance - ladies only!  Let me know if you're interested in joining us!
