Story

On the 1st June I am taking part in the Aberdeen Kiltwalk in the hope of raising money for 5 very worthy cancer charities.

The Kiltwalk are donating all proceeds to the Tour de 4 fundraiser this year, which is a brand new fundraising charity launched by Sir Chris Hoy to change the perception of people living with Stage 4 cancer and to raise funds for 5 nominated cancer charities (Breast Cancer Now, Cancer Research UK, Macmillan, Maggies and Prostate Cancer UK).

Too many people I know and love, plus some very important people I never got to meet, have either been lost to cancer, have battled it or are still having treatment, which is why these charities are very important to me.

I figured, what better way to support these amazing charities than popping on a kilt and walking 18miles across Aberdeenshire 😬. As much as I enjoy walking, I am fully aware I don’t do it enough on a day to day basis and this realisation is rapidly setting in!😬

Any donation, no matter how small will be massively appreciated.

Thank you!
