In memory of Corin Long

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra provides, maintains and encourages the art of music, accessible to all, with the vision of bringing world-class performances of the greatest music, offering audiences in the UK and abroad the highest possible standards of music-making, accompanied by some of the most acclaimed artists of the day.

Story

On 7th June, five members of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra; Matt Perry, Dan Jemison, Phil White, Adam wright and myself are going to attempt to complete a 10k run in Battersea Park.

We are hoping to raise money for the Corin Long Memorial Fund, which was set up in the memory of our much loved colleague, who sadly died in a diving accident in 2007. The fund was created to help young musicians enter the profession, and is a testament to Corin's huge commitment and energy towards teaching and inspiring Bass players young and old.

Please support us by donating here, and feel free to come along to Battersea Park at 8am on the 7th June to cheer us along!

We are very grateful to the RPO, who are helping us collect our donations. Please be assured that all donations will go to Corin's Fund.
