Story

Forecast of heavy rain and sleet turning to snow for Wokingham half marathon 'training run' tomorrow! Deep joy? Gotta be worth some sponsorship hint hint! Great charity! C xx

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For those that know me the idea of running the London Marathon is just a little bit ridiculous! Anyway I am determined to do it and your support and sponsorship will help in these long months of training (especially in the snow!).

I am raising money for the Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS) Foundation. CdLS  is a genetic disorder that can lead to severe developmental anomalies. It affects the physical and intellectual development of a child. It is estimated at 1 in 10,000 to 30,000 children are affected by this syndrome. I had never heard of this condition before last year until my sister-in-law's sister had a child with this condition. As a parent of 2 healthy children it makes you realise just how lucky you are and that if you can do anything to raise money for research into conditions like this then you should.

Anything you can donate will be much appreciated and help spur me along the way.
