As many of you know, I was victim of a hit-and run four years ago, which left me completely paralysed, naturally comatose on life support for weeks and in hospital for FOURTEEN months. I was told I would NEVER walk again.
Six operations and floods of blood, sweat and tears later, I'm the luckiest girl alive and can "walk" in a fashion. Cancer victims often aren't so lucky, but I hope and pray this will change.
As a student Children's nurse I comforted little girls on the Paediatric Oncology ward losing their hair to cancer. This broke my heart. Worse still, many friends and I have lost loved ones to Cancer.
The sooner we can find a cure for cancer the better, but in the meantime we need more and better care for sufferers.
Please help, everybody!!!!!!!!
Thank you in advance :) :) :)
