Through a series of extraordinary lucky circumstances my Mum was quickly diagnosed and treated for Kidney Cancer. One year on and so far, all the scans are coming back clear. She was lucky - we all were.

Running the Great South Run is going to be a challenge for me - not least because the furthest I've run in one go is 3 miles! But I am determined to complete it and raise lots of money for Kidney Cancer UK
