On Sunday, 31st May, once again the team are putting themselves to the test in this invigorating but gruelling sport.  Last year, over several exciting and closely run heats, the team gave their all and we finished in second place, so we are out to win this time and also retain the fastest heat record.

We are also working with The Bay Radio this year in supporting this event and they will be broadcasting live during the day.

CancerCare's services are available to anyone in North Lancashire and South Lakeland, and have been developed in response to the expressed needs of those whose lives are affected by cancer.

Each year CancerCare supports over 1500 people - patients, families and carers - at its two main centres at Slynedales, Lancaster and the Lakes Centre, Kendal. In addition to their therapeutic support they offer information and advice together with practical services. They also facilitate Friendship Groups throughout the area.
