I'm joining the Clipper Race and Team GREAT Britain in raising funds for UNICEF's mission of keeping children safe around the world. UNICEF UK sole source of funding comes from people like you through voluntary contribution, no funding is contributed by UN. 

For every $1 given to UNICEF $0.74 is spent on programs for children, $0.24 for fundraising and $0.02 on administration costs. Here are some examples of what the programs provide:

• $74 can help 2 families collect and store clean water
• $165 can provide blankets for 25 babies
• $317 can protect 2000 children from polio via vaccinations
• $718 can provide education for 160 children with UNICEF's school in a box
