Fundraising for Kick 4 Life
Story
I'm riding almost 1000 miles from Land's End to John O'Groats in nine days for the Kick4Life charity run by family member Steve Fleming - he finally convinced me to get off my backside and do something!
Maybe I should have picked something easier because I'm not really a road biker, I prefer mountain bikes so this will be a challenge for me. Still, may as well do it properly right?!
Also, I'll be doing it on the hybrid I commute to work on every day just to make it more interesting..
Having been involved in football as a youngster, and now as an assistant coach for my son's team, and with a son that is also enjoying the game, I also feel that I should give something back.
I am donating enough of my own money to cover the cost of the trip so rest assured that every penny of any money donated will go to the charity.
