Who is Housing for Women?

Housing for Women is a registered charity and independent housing association. We champion female empowerment by providing and promoting affordable homes for women and gender-specific support services. Since 1934, we have been working to build a more equal society for women, a world where everyone has a safe roof over their head regardless of circumstance, where violence against women is no longer tolerated.

What is their Mission?

To work to empower women through providing good homes and services and challenging inequalities faced by women.

Who do they Help?

Women and children escaping abuse, Women who have been trafficked into the UK for exploitation, Refuges, Women dealing with substance misuse and with complex needs, Women releases from prison.

How are we Helping?

We're raising money that Housing for Women will use for essential services. Money is raised through this JustGiving page, through the entry fee to the clothing swap and through cash donations.

We're collecting gently used clothing to provide to the women helped by House for Women.
