Story
Assalaamu 'alaykum & Greetings,
I pray that you are well.
Every Ramadan we reach out to you, our family and friends, to raise funds for an institute close to our hearts.
Whilst I'm sure we will be donating abroad to support projects, I am asking you to put a fraction of your zakat or sadaqa this month to support a college training upcoming Muslim scholars to deal with modern day challenges whilst understanding their context.
For the last 10 years, your zakat has enabled the CMC to provide high-quality educational experiences that transformed the lives of students on the Diploma in Contextual Islamic Studies and Leadership.
Over 100 students have returned to their communities as imams, teachers and community leaders or are pursuing higher education, confidently demonstrating love, mercy, and faithful grounding in their work.
The college remain committed to developing robust programmes which help us address the challenges of our time. Your zakat can continue to train another generation of scholars to be of service to our communities.
