Hi there....i'm running in the Edinburgh marathon this year on the 27th May....the plan is to run it in under 4 hours and complete something i've always wanted to do before I hit the big 30....My brother Alan is also running this year so this is sort of sponsoring him too..so please if you could donate something to what is a very good cause that would be great. I'd like feel that I am doing something worthwhile while running, it might keep me going all that time.

Training has started and I intend to put a link on here or somewhere to let you know how it is going...its been a few years since I really ran a lot so I'm just getting going and have a 12 week training plan worked out that will start at the end of this month. Currently either running or cycling to and from work and though that is only 3 miles its becoming easier the more times I do it...so I'm looking forward to stepping up the training schedule over the next while.

Latest update...have started my 12 week training schedule...which is going ok, ran for an hour last week and cycled 10 miles... Week 2 40 min run on Monday..will add to this over the next few weeks I hope... Now a few weeks later...5 weeks to go...struggling a bit with the running malarkey...but still confident so feel free to help out some kids and put a wee bit of your earnings forward!!! Please....
