In memory of Colin Meager

James Meager is raising money for Birmingham Hospice
In memory of Colin Meager
Birmingham Hospice offers specialist palliative and end of life care for those with a terminal illness. Whether at home, in the community or at our hospices, we help people live well, with dignity, and make the most of every moment they have left.

Story

It is with great sadness that on Monday 11th January 2021, with family by his side, Colin sadly lost his fight to cancer and passed away. He leaves a huge gap in our very close and loving family. Beloved husband to Lis, father to James and partner Charlotte, brother to Judy and uncle to Emma, Tom and Sophie.

We have been incredibly touched by the amount of kind wishes that we have received from family, friends and through his business. The heartfelt words have moved us greatly and even though we knew how special and caring he was, he clearly touched so many other lives in the same way.

Colin’s funeral is planned for 11th February 2021 and by invitation only, due to the current COVID restrictions. We kindly inform you that it is family flowers only. Any donations are much appreciated via this  website to John Taylor Hospice.

John Taylor Hospice have been an incredible support and comfort to my Dad and the family over recent months. Their willingness to go above and beyond has been amazing, even recognising my parents 49th wedding anniversary, with banners, balloons and champagne. Prior to Dad passing, he himself was donating to this remarkable charity and would be happy to know that his legacy carries on.
