Story

https://backup-charity.org.uk

We are a group of students from Bolton College who want to help and make a difference in the lives of ex-homeless young people in Bolton. We want to raise £150 to help them feel happy and comfortable in their new homes as we are in ours. Look around your comfortable cosy room what makes you feel at home?, cushions, picture frames for those family photos, cosy blankets and throws. Ex-homeless people need that warm feeling too to make their new living space feel homely. We want to help them believe there is a better future ahead. #turning houses into homes

" no one has ever become poor by giving" Ann Frank

No matter the skin colour, religion or gender identity we all belong to the same  race: humankind. We share the same experience. Who are we as human beings if we ignore the sufferings of others.

“If you knew what I know about the power of giving, you would not let a single meal pass without sharing it in some way.”
―Buddha
