My friend, Krisza, was a character! She was always laughing, joking around and making work that little bit more bearable on the bad days! She always humoured my silly questions, knew how to make me smile and always thought of others before herself. It's difficult to really put everything into words because she was such a lovely person, daft as owt but that's what made Krisza, Krisza! She was literally one of a kind.

Krisza sadly passed away in January 2017. It was such a shock to lose a great friend so unexpectedly. I miss her terribly, as do so many others, so I want to do this to honour her memory.

Her love for animals was no secret! Krisza particularly loved her dogs, which is why I have decided to participate in this muddy challenge with the help of my trusty sidekick, Nel, to raise money for the Battersea Dogs & Cats home.

Nel is a gorgeous Welsh Sheepdog and has been part of my family for 7 years. When we're re-united every other month, we're the best of friends! We love our walks up the hills and also along the Welsh coast, but this will be our biggest team challenge to date!

This is the UK's first 5km muddy obstacle course that you can run with your dog and it will all take place in Nottingham on Saturday 6th May 2017!
