Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As I'm sure you all know my daughter Ava has Type One Diabetes and as such has to monitor her blood sugar levels continuously. We are very fortunate to have a few gizmos that help us with this but what we ultimately want is for someone to find a cure for this horrible disease. The people over at JDRF fund numerous projects looking at ways or managing Type One and also possible cures.
In September I am planning (with some willing friends) to do the coast to coast bike ride over 2 days. It's 140 miles across the Lake District and the top of the dales (I think). There's a lot of hills along the way and also some good old distance to cover. If you fancy sponsoring me to do it that would be fantastic. I've started training now and can't wait to get stuck in.
