Story

Whenever I do anything crazy or challenging, I find it better to do for charity, because at the moment I am ready to give up, I think of the money I have raised and the people it will help. Macmillan is a charity close to my heart and my family and I have had personal experience with the amazing work they do.

I started out running at the end of 2014/start of 2015 and each week I have slowly increased my distance, until in July 2015 Callum and I were able to do a 10k. After catching the race fever and knowing that we could push further, we signed up for the Glasgow Half Marathon in October 2015. It only felt natural to see how far we could push our physical boundaries, so signed up for the Edinburgh Marathon - yes we are a little crazy!

Like I said, doing it for a charity that means a lot to us both will give us that extra push along. I reckon it could be the biggest and toughest challenge we have done both mentally and physically. So all your donations will be in the back of our minds cheering us on. We thank you for your support
