We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

I'm running this year's London Marathon with the help of a Golden Bond from the Alzheimer's Society in memory of my Nan, Nancy Gates, and Tim Wheeler's father, George Wheeler who both passed away after suffering from dementia. I'm also running for Neil Hannon (The Divine Comedy) who's father Brian was diagnosed with dementia several years ago and Nick Hodgson (Kaiser Chiefs) whose father passed away last year. Plus I ALWAYS run in memory of my Mum, Phoebe Ann Alderson, who died of secondary breast cancer in 1999.

Last year thanks to Tim Wheeler's idea to hold a benefit show at the Ulster Hall in Belfast I learnt so much about the Alzheimer's Society and the incredible work that they do. £30,000 was raised on the night and the whole event helped to raise the profile of the Alzheimer's Society. Their care and support for people with dementia and their families and friends is simply invaluable.

Please help me to raise money for this wonderful charity by donating any money that you can afford online or by texting CRON66 followed by either £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10 to 70070. Thank you so much for your support.
