Strength in Our Streets

My name is Rishi S and I have great compassion for those who are not fortunate enough to have their own home, the homeless and isolated.

Everyday on the way to work, leaving the supermarket, out for drinks and any other daily event, I can always spot at least one person lost, hungry, unloved, cold and possibly even seeking the attention of a good conversation, simple social interaction. How many people do you see on a daily basis?

While I know I can't currently fix world hunger or give homes / shelters to the homeless, with this fundraising campaign I can purchase hot meals, clean water, warm clothing, toiletries and waterproof equipment, as well as other provisions to give immediate help and aid to those in need.

I have worked with large charities such as Crisis who lead in the challenge of changing law and polices in the matter, as well as smaller organisations who spend one day a week setting up shop to feed or distribute provisions to those in need. Through these large to small experiences it's time I put myself out there and make a real difference.
