Story
GGG is the junior section of Gloucestershire Ladies’ County Golf Association and welcomes girls up to 18 years of age of all golfing abilities - from beginners to advanced players.
As an inclusive organisation, GGG focuses on supporting and developing girls from all walks of life, with varying abilities who have a passion for golf. Through the game of golf, girls are encouraged to make new friends, develop new skills, practice personal responsibility, manage their emotions, learn etiquette and pursue wellness for life by enjoying the outdoors.
Over the years, many girls have taken advantage of the events, coaching and support provided by GGG. Lots of them have represented Gloucestershire at both junior and senior level, a few of them have competed for England and Wales with some turning professional, playing on tour or teaching.
To be able to deliver a full programme of order of merit events, junior competitions, inter county matches and participation in a regional inter county tournament plus junior coaching GGG are reliant on fundraising, donations and membership fees.
