My grandad has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimers. Upsetting as this is, the two of us have decided to turn it into a positive.

In January 2018, I plan on walking the Ribble Way with my Auntie and my Grandad to raise money to build an extension on my aunts house for my grandad to have some independence and so he is always close to family.

My grandad has always loved his long walks and bike rides, so we chose to raise money doing something he would enjoy and that we would all remember. This 73 mile walk will certainly be a challenge for me, but achievable with my grandad by my side.

I would rather reach (or exceed!) my goal of £500, than recieve any gifts this Christmas. Please donate if you can!
