Story
The cost of support and funding to run a race team at this level is extortionate. Some think it's just like running a bike in a club championship. In some ways, it is, but you will never be on a competitive package to dice for the front positions, let alone to ensure a suitable buffer is in place for repairs and improvements. The Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship is proving to be one of the fastest growing and competitive championships in the country, breeding some of the worlds finest talents we know and love from British Superbikes, World Superbikes and MotoGP.
Onboard the ASJ Racing ePayMe Yamaha, we have Joe Morphett, who has quickly come through the ranks from being a rookie at BEMSEE just 3 years ago on a 600cc Yamaha R6, before stepping into the MRO Powerbike Championship at the end of 2016 on a 1000cc Kawasaki ZX10R where he truly found his form. Currently competing in the MRO Powerbikes, Joe is leading this class with 26 points ahead of last years vistor Colin Parker. We intend to complete this season within this class, while entering a couple of wildcard entries to The Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship to finalise our required package to compete next season.
We hope you join us in wishing Joe and ASJ Racing all the best for the future and we hope you are able to support a truly winning combination.
Stay tuned in to our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/asjracing/), Twitter (@asjracing) and Instagram (asjracing) accounts with chances to win some fantastic prizes.

7 years agoOur first official test at Snetterton yesterday went extremely well. Joe was well in the mix with consistant lap times to gain some valuable points when we have our first wildcard entry later this month. More news and updates to follow.....
