I'm fundraising for 'Age Concern Isle of Man'. A charity that provides care and support for anyone over the age of 50 and anyone with a disability on the island.

Any and every donation counts and could help a senior member to benefit from 'Meals on Wheels', along with many other support services such as day care, training and educational 'Computer Clubs' at their Lifelong Learning Centres, with transport to get to them.

On top of this, I am also aiming to raise the most money out of the 12 finalist to increase my chances of winning in order to secure my charity 25% of the profits from the Miss IOM Final on August 5th.

I myself sadly only have one grandparent left, my grandfather, who lives in England which means I rarely get to see him. Because of this I know the constant worry people have for their family members and how much support a charity like this must be to them.

Ageing is inevitable and will happen to us all. Meaning one day it could be any of us needing a little extra hand in life.

So please, reach out and show them your love. Because they could be someone else's grandparents, but most importantly they are human and deserve the best that life can offer them.
