Ark wildlife park started off life as a privately run exotic animal sanctuary in Norfolk taking in unwanted exotic pets, when we ran out of space we decided to take the next step and open up the UK's first rescue zoo, a wildlife park specialising in re-homing exotic animals, either unwanted, neglected or in some cases illegally kept animals.
Recently Sky news came to the park to film a story about the increasing number of unwanted exotic pets, since then we have been contacted by people asking if they can make a donation to the animals care and welfare costs over the winter period.
