As a teacher I will be taking 18 students to Woe, Ghana in 2018. We are going to give our time to teach children in their community schools as well as help build school buildings they so desperately need.
We plan on taking resources with us that they do not have, pens, paper, paint, sports equipment and more so we can teach and help to enrich their lives.
The children in the village will benefit greatly from our visit, as they do not have the basic things, some children will be out on fishing boats till midnight each night supporting their family.
We want to be able to give them the attention and fun children deserve!
This is also an incredible opportunity for our students, some who have never left the country, it will help open their eyes to the issues in the world and I have no doubt it will inspire them to do brilliant things with their lives!
We will be doing lots of fundraisers along the way, wolf runs, craft markets, sponsored walks and more. So please share and give what you can to support these students!
