Hey guys! So basically I've started this crowd funder to help me pay for some of the surgeries that I currently desperately need to make my life whole and happy.
My name is Ashleigh I am 26 and I identify as transgender, this mean that my body does not match up to how I feel on the inside and in my head and it causes great stress and upset. I am crowd funding to help me get certain surgeries to help enhance my wellbeing and make my body match that of what it is truly ment to be.
Alot of people would think it's selfish to do a crowd funder for them self's but I see it no different as to someone who is ill or in need of life changing surgery because to me this is my life and getting these surgeries could save it and greatly improve it.
I am trying to raise 4 thousand pounds for breast augmentation and a little extra just to cover costs of travel to and from the appointments.
Having this surgery means everything to me and in having this I will be able to feel confident and live without the stress of having to deal with a male body every day.
Whilst I am currently working full time I cannot actually afford to save up and pay all my bills hence why I have also come to ask for the help of other people.
this is not something that I have taken lightly to ask for and it's pretty upsetting to have to do so but the NHS doesn't actually fund breast augmentation and I don't want to get a loan as some ignorant people have suggested.
I have been on femanising hormones for over a year and a half and haven't really had much growth on my chest which makes me severely depressed looking in the Morror is something I hate doing.
Because I belive in giving something back to others also for every 200 pound that is raised I will be personally donating 20 pounds of my own money to a cause on here.
