On February 24th I am running the Aswan half-marathon whilst my mum is running the 10km race to raise money for the Magdi Yacoub heart foundation.

The Madi Yacoub Foundation was set up by British-Egyptian heart surgeon Sir Madgi Yacoub and it is a non-profit, non-governmental organization providing free world-class medical services to the less privileged in Egypt and throughout the region in the field of cardiovascular diseases.
