Iʼve raised £750 to pay for 2 toilets for schools in rural NW Nicaragua. They will be twinned with two in the Department of Chemistry, University of Bath.

Story
I helped found a charity in Bristol 30 years ago, which works with a small rural area in North West Nicaragua. We have helped them develop their education and health systems, including paying for some teachers and buildings in pre-schools in really isolated rural areas, which allow parents to go out and earn some money.
One of the things that the small kids said was that they didn't like sharing the toilets with the big kids, so we have been getting the communities to build simple latrines for about $500, and getting folk here to twin with their own toilets.
I want to mark my 27 years in Bath with a twinned toilet in 1S.

Best of luck with your project, it is really inspiring. Now you should be our local Bill Gates as I believe, he too, is interested in targeting toilets crisis in poor countries.
